     The American Antitrust Institute is an independent Washington-based non-profit education, research, and advocacy organization. Its mission is to increase the role of competition in all industries, assure that competition is fair, and challenge unduly concentrated power in the American and world economy, although it does not focus on the solid waste industry.

Stop Waste Management

     The Stop Waste Management Campaign is a Dayton, Ohio, citizens organization opposed to Waste Management for environmental and social reasons. Although it is not strictly concerned with antitrust issues, its magazine provides information about Waste Management, Inc., that is not always found in the trade press.

       Infact has been exposing life-threatening abuses by transnational corporations and organizing successful grassroots campaigns to hold corporations accountable to consumers and society at large.
